Andrej Golob will be the new CEO of Alltron AG and, as a member of the Competec Executive Board, will also be responsible for the Retail Customers division. Golob was previously responsible for various leading positions in the HP Group. In addition to his current position as Managing Director and General Manager DACH at Xerox, he is also involved as a founder and investor. He also holds various directorships, including one with Raiffeisenbank Switzerland. Golob succeeds Markus Messerer, who, according to a Competec statement, left the trading group at the end of June to take up a new challenge with a Swedish telco group. The new Head of Trade Customers thus also replaces Comptec CEO Martin Lorenz, who directly managed the ICT distributor during the transition phase. The 55-year-old will take up his new position at Alltron's parent company on February 1, 2021. Golob holds a Master of Business Administration in Accounting & Finance from the University of St. Gallen.
