Data protection officer clarifies via Youtube

In the first Video of the Data Protection Commissioner of the Canton of Zurich (DPO), practical issues around data protection are addressed: The use of personal data and passwords is just as much a topic as dealing with intrusive followers. The boundary between private, professional and public Internet activities and the importance of teaching skills in the use of social media are also addressed. The video also provides tips and tricks on how to protect personal information and privacy.

The protagonists are four well-known Swiss Youtubers who talk about their personal experiences. The video "why privacy matters - Swiss Youtuber on the topic of data protection" is the first in a series of further planned Youtube contributions by the data protection commissioner, it says. In this way, the DPO wants to directly address the target group of teenagers and young adults and raise awareness of the topic of data protection and security via dialog in social media.
