Return on Prevention Conference

Every company is dependent on the operational capability of its employees. The importance of occupational safety and health protection in the workplace can therefore not be overestimated - both for the employees and for the company. Regardless of the level, absences cost a great deal of money, time and energy. And the damage sum often amounts to several times the insurance coverage. Such and similar statements are actually truisms. And yet it is important to remember these messages. Because often one only really becomes aware of these truths when an accident or other serious incident has occurred.

The SAVE AG organized on March 1, 2016 in cooperation with the Swiss Association of Suppliers of Personal Protective Equipment "swiss safety" a conference on the topic of Return on Prevention. Investments in occupational safety and corresponding prevention measures are worthwhile. National and international studies have provided proof of this. Every franc invested in corporate prevention work pays for itself at least twice over.

Anyone who wants to be and remain successful as a business must invest in occupational safety and health protection in the workplace. Because: "Healthy and productive employees are a company's capital." Times when spending on occupational safety and effective prevention was questioned should definitely be a thing of the past. The conference on March 1, 2016 will also convey this important message.

Incidentally, the commitment of "swiss safety" to the Suva "250 Lives" campaign also belongs in this context. With its commitment, the association is actively helping to prevent at least 250 occupational accidents resulting in death and just as many serious cases of disability within ten years. Far too many people still die every year as a result of an occupational accident. With every single death prevented, a sustainable "Return on Prevention" is achieved.
