Joint Commission SVV/SUVA: first results
The "Paritätische Kommission SVV/Suva" (Joint Commission SVV/Suva) is to seek amicable solutions in disputed cases between Suva and private insurers. It has now achieved its first results.
The "SVV/Suva Joint Commission" created by the SVV and Suva as part of the revision of the Accident Insurance Act UVG is recording its first results. On behalf of the social partners, it was concerned with finding an amicable solution to demarcation issues in the area of Art. 66 para. 1 lit. o UVG (companies that provide temporary workers).
The "Joint Commission SVV/Suva", chaired by Prof. Dr. iur. Thomas Gächter, University of Zurich, will assess the cases submitted to it according to the criteria developed. The negotiations of the commission and its recommendations are confidential. Legal recourse is maintained in accordance with the ordinary rules of procedure. The commission has thus created the basis for settling disputed cases amicably in the future. The SIA and Suva welcome this development.
