Even in small companies, the health of employees plays a major role. An online check helps small companies to determine the state of health in their company - and to find the right measures.
What is the state of physical and mental health in my company? Whether it's a large company or a small business: Workplace health promotion can help prevent illnesses and accidents at the workplace, strengthen physical and mental health, and improve well-being at work.
Managers of small companies have little time to concern themselves with details if these are not part of their core tasks. However, since workplace health promotion is also worthwhile for small companies, the Artisana association developed the Health check onlineThe report shows at a glance which are the three most important topics for those responsible for operations.
By answering specific questions on the three areas, the companies can determine their current position in just a few steps. The evaluation of the questionnaire shows the managers which measures in the area of health promotion they are already actively implementing and in which areas they can still improve. The online health check is part of the basic tool, which offers numerous tips and useful links for further assistance in addition to the questionnaire. The basic tool is available as a PDF download or can be ordered in printed form from the Artisana association.
Show appreciation and react early
The basis for the health check online and the basic tool are the results of the study "What's going on with Max Muster?"which was commissioned by Artisana and carried out by the University of Bern and the BASS office in 2015. Among other things, the study showed that appreciation and recognition have a positive impact on the health and performance of employees. Praise or a thank you are still given too little.
Workplace health promotion pays off
The Artisana association is committed to workplace health promotion in the SME sector in several ways: In addition to the above-mentioned Health Check online and the associated basic tool, Artisana has been awarding the annual Health Promotion Award. The CHF 10,000 prize is awarded to an SME that demonstrates a particularly high level of commitment in the area of workplace health promotion. The closing date for applications in 2017 is April 30, 2017.
