This national leading fair for industrial maintenance, as a think tank for the industry, combines specialist knowledge from the companies, speakers and associations present with current market requirements, thus promoting the exchange of knowledge. "All major industry sectors are represented at this trade event. They all benefit from intensive networking and together make a positive impact to promote and further strengthen the image of maintenance," says Udo Funke, Group Event Director of the maintenance series in the D-A-CH region.

Broad spectrum

The "maintenance Schweiz 2016" takes up the important topics of the industry and the exhibitors present the whole spectrum: from next generation manufacturing services with new solutions, technologies and services around maintenance. More transparency, more complexity, higher requirements: What exactly does digital transformation mean for industrial maintenance? At the trade event, such questions will be discussed. The focus will also be on other current topics such as occupational health and safety as well as data protection and product safety. "We are in intensive contact with exhibitors, various trade organizations, our trade fair partner fmpro and other target groups, so that we can put together an appealing and sophisticated trade fair and supporting program," explains Marketing Project Manager Christina Bartel.

Target group specific dialog

The target group-specific dialog with exhibitors and visitors takes place in parallel on the four social media platforms Google+, Twitter, Xing and Facebook. The trade visitors - around 55% decision-makers from the areas of procurement, production and maintenance - come primarily from the industrial sectors of mechanical engineering, equipment and plant construction, transport and infrastructure, the metal industry, electrical engineering and the electronics industry, the food industry, and the chemical and petrochemical industries.
