100 exhibitor mark cracked
The Perimeter Protection trade event has seen a significant increase in the number of exhibitors. This is probably a consequence of the increased need for security.
For the organizers of the Perimeter Protection it's a nice Christmas surprise: When the security industry meets at the Exhibition Center Nuremberg from January 12-14, 2016, it can look forward to a significantly increased trade show for perimeter protection, fencing technology and building security. This time, according to information, more than 100 (2014: 78) companies will be exhibiting both mechanical and electronic systems for perimeter protection on an exhibition area of more than 4300 m2 (2014: 3102). The proportion of international companies had also increased considerably: While there were 16 exhibitors from 9 countries in 2014, 33 companies from 13 countries will be exhibiting at the upcoming show. This means that the still young biennial trade fair has become well established in the industry, the organizers sum up.
Alexander Stein, head of the Perimeter Protection department, explains the growth as follows: "The need for security among the population and local authorities has increased in recent months. This basic sentiment definitely plays a role in the growth. But this time we were also able to attract even more national and international market leaders as exhibitors, who then in turn had an attraction for other companies in the industry."
Stein sees further reasons for the success in the intensification of the cooperation with the two partners, the Metal Fence Technology Association (MZT) as well as the Association for Security Technology (VfS). Beneficial ideas for the future development of the trade fair have emerged from this cooperation.
