Wirelessly networked BLUEnet door control unit from SALTO for greater efficiency and security
SALTO Systems expands the application possibilities of its BLUEnet wireless technology and launches the wireless BLUEnet door control unit.
SALTO Systems expands the application possibilities of its BLUEnet wireless technology and launches the wireless BLUEnet door controller. The one-door controller simplifies installation, reduces cabling and at the same time offers maximum security, efficiency and networking.
The BLUEnet door controller puts an end to the time-consuming installation of wired units and still guarantees users a wide range of functions and diverse connection options. The door controller saves a considerable amount of time and resources, especially when installing and configuring SALTO access systems.
The new door controller uses SALTO's BLUEnet wireless technology to exchange data with the server via wireless networking. It can integrate both online and offline access points and is fully compatible with the SALTO Space system platforms for on-premise access control as well as with the SALTO KS and SALTO Homelok cloud platforms. This allows users to tailor the infrastructure to their requirements.
Operators can therefore use the latest wireless technology at access points where previously only wired systems were an option. In this way, they reduce costs and effort while benefiting from maximum flexibility, versatile networking and maximum security.
Thanks to the compact product design, the BLUEnet door control unit is intended for mounting on standard DIN rails and reduces cabling in buildings and properties. It can therefore also be installed in standard electrical distribution boards, for example.
The main controller in the range provides the key real-time features of SALTO's powerful access platforms, including SVN-Flex for wireless access rights updates, door monitoring, remote opening, emergency locking and office mode. It extends the features of the SALTO Virtual Network (SVN) and SALTO BLUEnet wireless networking to any access point, enabling building managers to optimize security processes across any number of sites.
Via the potential-free outputs and programmable inputs, for example, electric gates, automatic door systems, barriers, elevators, charging stations, building technology and many other third-party systems can be conveniently connected and integrated with SALTO access solutions.
