Nothelfer am Bahnhof is officially pleased to announce the launch of Switzerland's first first aid e-learning platform. The platform offers a variety of first aid courses now and in the future, allowing participants to learn at their own pace and prepare comprehensively for various emergency situations. Something that has been offered in other countries for some time is now also available to the Swiss population.

With the new e-learning platform, Nothelfer am Bahnhof is making first aid training accessible to a wide audience. The courses are designed to be suitable for both private individuals and companies wishing to train their employees in life-saving measures. Companies are obliged to train their employees in first aid in accordance with Article 36 of Ordinance 3 of the Employment Act. Unfortunately, this regulation is still not fully implemented in practice. The new first aid e-learning platform is designed to make it easier for companies to comply with this obligation.

Nothelfer am Bahnhof is developing an interdisciplinary range of courses in addition to the traditional first aid courses. This deals with topics that affect our society on a daily basis but still receive too little attention. This dynamic range of courses makes it quicker and easier to raise awareness of socially relevant issues. Among others, the following interdisciplinary courses are currently being developed and offered:

  • Inclusive care: treating trans people with respect
  • Recognizing and documenting domestic violence
  • Resilience - understanding, training and applying it
  • Raising awareness against bullying, sexual harassment and discrimination

To mark the start of school, we are also providing the free online guide "Children dealing with strangers" are available.

Highlights of the e-learning platform:

  • Wide range of courses: From First aid for children about First aid for dogs and fire protection through to special training courses for companies - the platform covers a wide range of topics.
  • Flexible learning: Participants can complete the courses at any time and from anywhere. The user-friendly platform makes it possible to customize the learning pace.
  • Partnerships with experts: Thanks to cooperation with renowned partners such as Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe e.V., the Mobbing and Harassment Office, VetTrust and the Transgender Network Switzerland, the platform offers practical content that meets the latest standards.

Another highlight are the partnerships with various insurance companies and KulturLegi, which support their customers with a discount on first aid courses.
