Zurich Security Fair: The Congress Topics
The SICHERHEIT trade fair (November 10-13) and the accompanying trade congress will celebrate their 20th anniversary in 2015. The congress topics have just been published.
The Trade congress is divided into 19 half-day modules. The range of topics goes beyond the general trade fair theme and takes a holistic view of security. The congress will open on November 10 with a module on current threats as well as potential threats to public and private organizations. The focus will be on security challenges, corruption, current and future forms of threat as well as risk reduction strategies and measures to be taken.
Quality assurance is a topic in several modules. The following modules are worth mentioning Quality assurance in fire protection and Lifecycle management of security systems.
Various modules address technical aspects. Selected components and elements are presented during the half-days. Fire protection technology, security technology, video surveillance and access control illuminated. Furthermore, the Corporate security, security planning and security services. is of great importance. The challenges of modern security planning, crisis management and life in the midst of a crisis, the success factors for alarm receiving and operation control centers as well as the developments of the private security industry are focused elements at the congress.
Three half-day modules revolve around the human success factor and the safety and health of employees. They show different approaches around successful Occupational safety management The report also addresses the personal responsibility of employees with regard to occupational safety and the challenges of workplaces at height with their fall protection systems.
Fire protection and escape routee: In three half-day sessions, experiences in fire protection are shared, which allow parallels and conclusions to be drawn about fire protection efforts in one's own company. A novelty at the 20th edition of the congress will be the first workshop-like thematic block on Threat Management. An experienced police psychologist and profiler shares her experiences from various cases with the plenary.
