Arsonist filmed by video camera
An arsonist was caught in flagrante delicto - by the surveillance camera.
According to the Zurich Cantonal Police (Kapo), an unknown man set fire to a restaurant on Kasernenstrasse in Bülach ZH on January 12, 2017 (early in the morning at around 2 am). With a gasoline canister he made himself at the window front of the smoking lounge, as the Video shows. A short time later, the restaurant was on fire; property damage of around 100,000 Swiss francs was incurred.
Witness appeal
According to Kapo, the wanted man is about 25 to 45 years old, has a slim build and wears glasses. At the time of the crime, he was wearing blue jeans, a dark jacket, a light-colored hooded sweater and a scarf.
