The "Work Smart" initiative wants to help Swiss companies to make their working hours more flexible. The seven initiators - including Microsoft Switzerland, Swiss Post, SBB and Swisscom - want to further promote flexible working in their companies and at the same time help other companies to introduce it.

They have signed a charter to commit to these goals. From June 15 to 19, an additional Action week The event will give decision-makers and employees the opportunity to exchange information and ideas in specialist presentations and workshops.

The initiative is supported by the School of Applied Psychology at the FHNW with a study that examined for the first time where Swiss companies stand with regard to flexible working hours and where the challenges lie. From this, a guide for managers was developed, which can be downloaded free of charge. Download is ready.
