Swissphone: Future-oriented succession plan and 50-year anniversary
In the course of the entrepreneurial succession of Swissphone Wireless AG, the existing management as well as a group of entrepreneurs from Switzerland and Germany will take over the business shares of the leading provider of critical messaging and alerting solutions with immediate effect.
The founding family and previous owner of Swissphone Wireless AG ("Swissphone"), the Köchler family, has sold the company as part of a succession plan to the members of the management of Swissphone Wireless AG and to a group of renowned Swiss and German entrepreneurs - advised by Rigeto Unternehmerkapital GmbH - effective immediately. With this setting of the course with regard to sustainable succession planning, a further and extremely important milestone has been reached in 2019. Because in 2019, Swissphone will also celebrate its 50th company anniversary. In 1969, Helmut and Erika Köchler - active on the Board of Directors until the end - founded the company and successfully developed it into the leading international provider of solutions in the areas of Alerting and Critical Messaging.
Consolidate good development sustainably
Swissphone will continue under the existing management, the parent company in Samstagern, Switzerland, as well as the subsidiaries in Germany, Austria, France and the United States of America will be represented by the existing managers, and there will be no changes for customers and staff. The Swissphone Group has developed well in recent years, winning important projects and implementing innovations.
CEO Angelo Saccoccia explains on the realized succession plan: "Through the commitment of the investors from the German-speaking region, in combination with the existing and successful management, the sustainable continuity of the company could be ensured.
