36th SGAS General Assembly and Symposium cancelled
The Swiss Society for Occupational Safety SGAS is an association of professionals who professionally promote occupational safety and health. The specialist conference and general meeting of the SGAS was to take place for the first time in the Kongresshaus Biel and has now been cancelled or postponed to 23.03.2021.
Update 03/16/2020:
Due to the current situation, the SGAS Presidium has decided today (16.03.2020) the following measures:
- The symposium and the General Assembly (AGM) of 26.03.2020 are cancelled.
- The 2020 AGM will "online" performed.
- The next AGM will take place on 23.03.2021 at the Kongresshaus Biel.
- The SGAS board continues to monitor developments on a regular basis. At the moment, at the regional specialist meetings
of 27.08.2020 in Zurich, 24.09.2020 in Manno and 26.11.2020 in Lausanne are recorded. If further
measures are necessary, will be informed online in good time.
The SGAS is a professional society of the umbrella organization of the Societies for Safety and Health protection in the workplace (Suissepro). Dhe SGAS symposium will be held in the morning in German, French and Italian separately on the following topics:
- ISO 45,000 - Practical experience
- Commissions for Social Security and Health (SGK)
- News from the association
36th General Assembly and guest lecture
The afternoon will feature a guest presentation by Marina Carobbio Guscetti, member of the Council of States. Afterwards, the 36th Ordinary General Assembly of the SGAS will take place with simultaneous translation from German into French and Italian. Participation in the symposium and the AGM will be rewarded with 2 FBE.
Conference fee
The cost of attending the half-day symposium, including a buffet stand-up lunch, is a flat rate of CHF 120 for members and CHF 150 for non-members. Participation in the General Assembly is free of charge. The participation fee will be collected in cash at the box office.
