Safety fair with two award ceremonies
The countdown is on. Preparations for the November safety trade show are in full swing. Awards will also be presented.
Who has not yet noted the date: The Security Fair with Congress will be the focal point of the Swiss security industry from November 14 to 17, 2017. It will feature both proven and many new elements and platforms.
Two awards
The Swiss Association of Fire Protection and Safety Professionals (VBSF) will present the "VBSF Safety Award 2017" on the opening day of the trade show, November 14 at 4:45 p.m. in Forum rot (Hall 5). The VBSF Award has been presented since 1992 to recognize special work or innovations in the field of safety. Prizes are awarded for scientific work and work of practical significance. The VBSF Safety Award is endowed with 5000 Swiss francs, and a recognition prize of 2000 francs will also be awarded. The ASIS Swiss Chapter will present the "ASIS Young Professionals Annual Award in Switzerland" on November 16, 2017, at 3:45 p.m. in the blue Forum (Hall 3). This rewards a project that is innovative, creative or represents an advance in the field of safety. Anyone younger than 40 with less than five years of work experience in the security industry is eligible to enter. The award is endowed with 2000 Swiss francs. In addition, the winner receives one year of free membership to ASIS International and the ASIS Swiss Chapter.Both award ceremonies are open to the public.
Integrated technical congress
The Security Congress will be held for the 21st time. In order to meet the needs of visitors, exhibitors and congress participants even better, it will now be completely integrated into the trade fair and take place in Halls 3 and 5. Planned are 13 practice- and solution-oriented Congress modules.
New platforms
For the first time, a "History Tunnel" and an "IPS - Innovation Park SECURITY" will be offered. The "History Tunnel" will use a wide variety of examples to show trade fair visitors the developments and processes from the original dangers and risks to the latest solutions. A look into the future is provided by the new "IPS - Innovation Park". There, exhibitors, start-up companies, universities and colleges will have an opportunity to present their innovations.
