Wrong guard register

The website zentrales-bewachungsregister.de gives the impression that it is the so-called guard register, which should originally have been introduced in Germany at the beginning of 2018, as Silke Wollmann from the security association BDSW explained to the "SicherheitsForum" on request. But "Bewacherregister", at least that is the official wording, and "Bewachungsregister", as it is called on the above mentioned website, are not the same. The company behind said website apparently sends invoices to security and other companies for inclusion in the register, writes the BDSW. Therefore, the security association has asked its members not to pay these invoices and to make sure that they are not listed in this "guarding register".

Prior to the press release sent out by the BDSW on September 18, 2017, numerous security companies were listed on the website. Shortly thereafter, Wollmann said, the companies were no longer publicly viewable. But that did not mean they would not continue to be listed in the "guarding register." The BDSW emphasizes that it reserves the right to take legal action against the company.

The company behind the controversial website is D&S Dienstleistungen und Service Dialogmarketing. It could not be reached by telephone for comment.

Not the first rip-off attempt

The representative listed in the imprint of the aforementioned website of central-supervision-register.com has already attracted attention in the past due to similar rip-off attempts, the BDSW media release continues. The company D&S Dienstleistungen und Service Dialogmarketing is already included in the list of "successfully warned companies" by the consumer advice center in Berlin, it concludes.
