On to the Hackathon

According to the organizers, this is the largest hackathon in continental Europe. But watch out! The event has little to do with computer security. It's not about hacking into other people's IT systems.

At a hackathon, the cracks of the scene come together to create new applications (web, mobile, etc.). Students and professionals form small teams and compete for 40 hours of programming. The intensive atmosphere encourages and challenges the participants and it is a unique platform to achieve something unique. The organizers expect more than 800 applications from highly talented computer scientists, engineers and designers, of which the best 450 will be sent to HackZurich 2015 will participate, as it is said.
