Securitas Group takes over Alpha Protect
The Securitas Group is taking over Alpha Protect AG, based in Illnau-Effretikon ZH, with retroactive effect from July 1, 2017. The company, which is active in the field of protection and guarding, has thus resolved its succession issue.
The Alpha Protect AG has been operating successfully in the Swiss security market since 2000 and has made a good name for itself as a security company in the greater Zurich area and in eastern and northwestern Switzerland, the Securitas Group writes. For customers and employees, the service company will remain in its usual strength. In addition, the company will benefit from the market presence and infrastructural advantages of the Securitas Group.
Dietrich remains managing director
For the Securitas Group, the full takeover of Alpha Protect means a further expansion of the security services division. As far as the acquired company is concerned, the new ownership structure will have no consequences whatsoever for jobs or market presence, Securitas writes. The former Alpha Protect shareholder Manfred Dietrich will remain a member of the board of directors and managing director of the company, which will continue to operate independently, and will successfully manage the transition phase with his 200 employees, according to the statement.
Both the Alpha Protect and the Securitas are members of the Association of Swiss Security Service Companies (VSSU).
