Building & modernization with safety consulting
Building is not child's play. A visit to the 49th Bauen & Modernisieren (6 to 9 September 2018) at Messe Zürich shows that renovations are successful when planned by experts. Security advice will also be offered as part of the exhibition.
The know-how and the product variety of the approximately 400 exhibitors around windows, floor and heating in the six exhibition halls is large. The kitchen and bathroom worlds will be presented in an eventful manner and with a love of detail. New are the areas of living crafts, Minergie and the interactive special show Swiss Energy Tour. Inspiration and expertise are also offered by the members of the igaltbau association and the Zurich city police in corpore.
Burglary protection: free advice
The security advisors of the commissariat Prevention of the Zurich City Police give tips (Hall 1, Stand D10) on how to make burglary more difficult with mechanical and electronic means. "Many homeowners don't know that most police corps offer such free advice," Roger Grab of the Zurich City Police repeatedly notes at his trade fair appearances. In a personal conversation, the security needs are used to determine where the weak points are and what concrete security measures can be envisaged. Companies specializing in burglary protection provide proof with their products that windows can be converted without any problems and safes must be installed in a nailed-down manner.
Building with sensitivity
eyes for the potential of old properties, the independent association igaltbau (Hall 6, Stand C21). "If you do a round of thinking before demolition, you can turn old houses into something great," says architect Philipp Hostettler. He knows that this is also increasingly recognized and desired by the market as a seal of quality. If such a project is implemented, "the specialists of the igaltbau work group - from the expert to the craftsman - offer their experience and support."
The fair Build & Modernize is open daily from 10 am to 6 pm. As always, every day will be Technical presentations offered. On September 6 (2:00 to 3:30 p.m.), there will also be a Forum Digital Planning and Building offered.
