Consider security aspects in IT procurement
When it comes to IT procurement in particular, decision-makers need to think about security aspects. A conference shows possible solutions.

It happens time and again that IT procurements (hardware and software) are carried out without having dealt in detail with the security aspects of information and communications technology. This can lead to considerable additional costs during the implementation of projects. Or both eyes are turned and systems are developed without the most important security functions. A brief look at the most common standards would suffice when preparing the tender documents.
Therefore, on November 19, 2019, the topic at the 22nd Bern ISSS Conference will be "Security aspects of IT procurements". The event of the Information Security Society Switzerland (ISSS) is organized in cooperation with the Federal IT Steering Committee (FSUIT).
Seven subject matter experts provide information
The conference is aimed at decision-makers and those responsible for IT and telecommunications and at information security officers from business, administration, science, research and politics. Seven experts will discuss the issues in depth with the 250 or so participants, provide answers and point out possible solutions.
