Handover at the top of Securitas AG
Urs Alig, the current COO and Director of Securitas Regional Head Office Zurich, will take over as Chief Executive Officer of Swiss Securitas AG as of January 1, 2020.
Born in 1966, Urs Alig already worked for Securitas from 2002 to 2010. After a detour as head of the Office for Civil Protection and the Armed Forces of the Canton of Thurgau, he has been back at Securitas since 2016.
The Thurgau native will now succeed Beat Glutz von Blotzheim, who is stepping down from operational management at the end of 2019 for reasons of age. However, after almost 20 successful years, Beat Glutz von Blotzheim will continue to work strategically as a member of the company management with a reduced workload. This will enable him to continue contributing his extensive know-how and expertise.
