André Banz becomes Head of Insurance at GVZ

André Banz (53) has worked for SBB for the past ten years, where he held various management positions with extensive personnel, project and financial responsibility in the areas of operations, maintenance and product management for passenger transportation. Most recently, he was Program Manager Transformation SAP for the SBB Group.

André Banz holds a degree in civil engineering from ETH Zurich and a postgraduate degree in business administration, also from ETH Zurich. In order to ensure a smooth handover, André Banz will take up his position at GVZ on June 1, 2024 and, after a short introductory period, take over as Head of the Insurance department on July 1, 2024. At the same time, he will become a member of the GVZ Executive Board.

The Board of Directors and Executive Board would like to thank him today for his commitment and wish him all the best for the future.
