Suspected asbestos: planning and cost security
Now and then, renovations entail asbestos abatement. A building check in advance provides planning security.
If the pollutants present in the building are known at an early stage, this not only improves planning and cost certainty, but also makes it significantly easier to comply with legal requirements (employee, personal and environmental protection), according to a new brochure published by the Forum Asbestos Switzerland. Asbestos can be found in buildings constructed before 1990. Other known building pollutants were banned at an earlier date, according to the Forum Asbestos Switzerland.
