ASS 2016: Countering risks in the workplace
From June 22 to 24, 2016, ArbeitsSicherheit Schweiz will once again present itself in Bern as a showcase for occupational safety, health protection and health promotion in the workplace.
"Dr. Carmen Spycher, Managing Director of the Swiss Federal Coordination Commission for Occupational Safety (EKAS), welcomes visitors to the trade fair with the words: "Take advantage of the opportunity to make the most of our networked world for the safety and health of your workplace.
As in previous years, the trade fair provides information on the latest developments in protective equipment and safety technology, but also includes the "soft" factors of occupational safety. Managers, safety engineers and health officers have the chance to discover new products and try out tools right away. In addition to the exhibitor stands, the presentations in the three practical forums - in both German and French - will provide further insight and inspiration.
Height rescue with the party
There will be excitement this year at the joint stand of swiss safety and SHRV (Schweizerischer Höhenarbeiter- und Rigging Verband): The two associations will demonstrate various rope rescues from different work situations at height live in the exhibition hall. On display will be a rescue on a pitched roof, from a fall arrest system and on a hanging rope.
Interactive trade fair tour
The safety course will also take place again: At five posts scattered throughout the exhibition hall, trade visitors can put their knowledge of occupational safety in everyday working life to the test. Leisure time safety is the topic at the station of bfu and Occupational Safety Switzerland: because in addition to suffering and pain, accidents in leisure time cause over 11 billion Swiss francs in material costs every year - including for employers. At JDMT, visitors to the trade fair can brush up on their knowledge of what to do in the event of a circulatory arrest. Furthermore, it is about safe working at heights, cut protection gloves , fall protection and back protection.
MeetingPoint: Exchange with colleagues
A new element in the trade show is the MeetingPoint, which invites visitors to exchange ideas with industry colleagues. The focus here is on what really works in practice. The basis of each moderated round of talks is a concrete case from working practice submitted by a trade visitor in the run-up to the trade show. Everyone can contribute and share their experience, and on the other hand benefit from the knowledge of the other participants.
Collect SGAS continuing education points
ArbeitsSicherheit Schweiz is recognized by the Swiss Society for Occupational Safety - SGAS as a continuing education measure. During the trade fair, running cards for collecting points are available from the trade fair office.
