Over the turn of the year, there were several thefts in Zurich in which female persons were also victims of sexual harassment. The Zurich city police are looking for victims and witnesses.
In Zurich, too, around two dozen thefts were reported in the aftermath of the New Year's Eve magic at the Zurich lake basin. In the course of investigating these thefts, it emerged that some of the cases also involved sexual harassment, as the Stapo recently announced.
To the police, the women concerned described that they had been robbed on the one hand and at the same time sexually harassed over their clothes. According to information, about half a dozen women have come forward. They stated that they had been approached in the crowd by several men with thinner skin color.
The Stapo Zurich asks further affected persons to come forward and file a complaint.
