Fully booked IT security fair

The IT security trade show it-sa 2016 in Nuremberg is entering its eighth round. Even the last free stand spaces have now been allocated, write the organizers.

Live hacking at last year's it-sa.

For this year's it-sa (October 18 to 20), not only are more exhibitors expected (2015: 428), but the booth areas are also growing: "Several exhibitors have even doubled their space compared to last year," emphasizes Frank Venjakob, Executive Director it-sa. The range of products and services at the event will take visitors (2015: over 9,000 trade visitors) along the following topics related to IT security:

  • Products and solutions
  • Physical IT security
  • Services, consulting and research

Special shows

This year's special show is called "DataCenter+ - the PLUS in physical security". It is dedicated to the topic of IT security solutions combined with physical protection measures, the organizers emphasize.

Identity and Access Management will also have its own area at this year's event. Furthermore, young companies will be presenting themselves in the special Startups@it-sa area.

Congress program

According to the organizers, the Congress@it-sa congress program will focus on practical knowledge transfer. For the first time, it-sa will also be the stage for the internationally oriented EICAR conference. It starts one day before the official opening of the trade show and will take place on October 17/18; current developments and research results will be discussed.
Events held by companies and organizations, including on the EU General Data Protection Regulation and strategies to counter current security threats, promise a comprehensive range of information in the Congress program.
