European Professional Championship: Switzerland wins championship title
At the fifth European Vocational Championships in Gothenburg, Switzerland takes first place and can now proudly call itself European Champion.
The SwissSkills team takes first place in the European Vocational Championships with two gold, two silver and two bronze medals as well as three diplomas.
European electrician champion Yvan Fässler has achieved with his 562 points the title 'Best of Nation' and also the 2nd place in the ranking 'Best of Europe'. He is thus the second best professional man ever in the whole of Europe.
Almost 500 young professionals from 28 European countries competed over three days in 35 different professions at this European Skills Championship.
