Betafence: New sales manager
Marius Fischer (41) took over as sales manager for Switzerland at Betafence at the beginning of June. With this new position, the global market leader for fencing and access control solutions is strengthening its activities in this country, according to the company.
Since last February Betafence with its own sales office in Neuenhof AG. "With our new sales office, a local office staff and our own sales manager, we are now very well positioned in Switzerland," explains Martin Götz, who as Managing Director of Betafence Deutschland GmbH is responsible for the entire D-A-CH region.
Fischer, a business economist HWV, has more than ten years of experience with sales and marketing tasks in the ancillary construction industry in Switzerland. In his new role, he is responsible for looking after Swiss customers, some of whom have been with the company for many years, and for expanding Betafence's business in this country. The company is present in Switzerland primarily with fencing products for the do-it-yourself segment, professional fencing systems, access control solutions and mobile fencing. Internationally, Betafence is active in over 100 countries. The group's headquarters are in Ghent (Belgium), while operations in the D-A-CH region are managed from the Schwalmtal site near Düsseldorf.
