Betafence takes over Hesco
Betafence, which operates internationally, is acquiring Hesco. The company's acquisition underpins the acceleration of its high security growth strategy and builds on the recent acquisition of Secure USA and the intellectual property agreement with Gibraltar US, Betafence writes.
The 1991 founded Hesco specializes in rapidly deployable perimeter protection, refuge bunkers and ballistic protective clothing for the military, energy and law enforcement sectors. The company supplies the U.S. Army, the land forces of the United Arab Emirates, the United Nations and the British Ministry of Defense, among others.
Hesco will expand the product portfolio of Betafence expand, strengthen its integrated solutions approach and increase its global reach, particularly in the U.S. and the Middle East, Betafence writes. Hesco will be managed as an independent subsidiary under the leadership of Michael Hughes, the media release states.
The transaction still has to be approved by the relevant authorities.
