Fire protection know-how in existing buildings
The specialist conference on fire protection (technology) in existing buildings provides comprehensive know-how.
Existing buildings are a challenge: change of use, fire protection, energy efficiency and other aspects have to be taken into account. In contrast to new construction, surprise effects are far greater. Owners, operators, planners, contractors, and even users of existing infrastructures and buildings are repeatedly confronted with many questions about fire protection. What specifications must be observed with regard to fire protection regulations for renovations? What is economically efficient and sensible? What should be done when technical fire protection systems are getting on in years? How do you deal with the different life cycles of building fabric and systems? These and numerous other questions must be considered. Holistic considerations, clean planning, hand-in-hand work, complete documentation and feasible applications in existing buildings are required to solve the challenges. The QA representative for fire protection is challenged just as much as the facility manager.
The event "Fire protection (technology) in existing buildings" organized by Save AG will take place under the patronage of the industry associations SSI and SES on April 1, 2020 in Zurich.
