The Swiss Safety Center has a new boss
The Swiss Safety Center will have a woman at the helm at the turn of the year. Elisabetta Carrea already headed the Expertise Services business unit in 2018 in the field of fire protection, environmental safety, occupational safety and risk management. The previous CEO, Raffael Schubiger, will become Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company.
The Board of Directors of Swiss Safety Center appointed a new company director, Dr. Elisabetta Carrea, at the beginning of the year. Elisabetta Carrea joined Swiss Safety Center AG in March 2018, according to a statement from the group. At that time, she was already successfully managing the Expertise Services business unit with services and qualifications in the areas of fire protection, environmental safety, occupational safety and integral risk management.
Carrea holds a doctorate in process engineering and has many years of experience as a project manager in plant construction and the energy sector. In her new role, the focus will be primarily on employees, but also on core topics such as market growth and innovations in connection with Industry 4.0 and digitalization, Swiss Safety Center adds.
Raffael Schubiger, Director of SVTI, will become Chairman of the Board of Directors of Swiss Safety Center AG and will in future focus on the strategic management and orientation of the group of companies consisting of SVTI Swiss Association for Technical Inspections and Swiss Safety Center AG.
