it-sa is on course for growth
For the first time, the IT security trade fair it-sa will be held in two halls of the Exhibition Center Nuremberg.
The trade show has reached its capacity limit with only one hall. Due to the increase in exhibitors and exhibition space, the it-sa 2017 will therefore be held in the two halls 9 and 10, according to the organizers.
In 2016, the IT security trade show set several new records: 489 exhibitors (2015: 428) from 19 countries were present (+14%); the increase in exhibition space was 15%. In terms of visitors, the 10,000 mark was also broken (2015: 9,015).
Unchanged trade fair concept
The trade show concept remains unchanged in 2017: The trade event focuses consistently on the topic of IT security. The entire spectrum of current IT security solutions from the areas of hardware and software, research and consulting services as well as services is covered, right up to physical protection for data centers, write the organizers. Exhibitor contributions in the open forums would supplement the information on offer with practical knowledge transfer, industry know-how and discussions on current IT security issues.
Three country pavilions
"This year, three nations are presenting themselves with their own national pavilions - France, Israel and the Czech Republic. This underlines the role of the trade event as a dialogue platform for experts who are jointly committed to more IT security across borders," says Frank Venjakob, Executive Director it-sa, NürnbergMesse. pd
