The Swiss Society for Occupational Safety SGAS has appointed Dr. Bruno Albrecht as Managing Director for the first time since it was founded in 1984. Bruno Albrecht is a chemist and safety engineer. On the board of SGAS, he has been actuary and responsible for training control for many years.
The SGAS is the largest professional society for safety and health at work of the umbrella organization suissepro. Today, it has over 1,400 members who are committed to safety and health at work. The number of members has been steadily increasing for years.
Voluntary commitment
All board members are employed, and their commitment to SGAS is at the expense of their free time. Therefore, in a previous strategy meeting, the Board decided to appoint an Executive Director (20 %) to support the President and the Board.
