Wache AG takes over Inter Security AG
The Zurich-based security company Wache AG is taking over the previously independently managed subsidiary Inter Security AG. It has belonged to Wache AG for several years - the two companies merged at the end of May 2020.
For Oliver de Capitani, CEO of the Guard AGone thing in particular is important: "We take over all the contracts and conditions of the Inter Security AG - be it with employees or customers. There will be no layoffs because of the merger." The entire staff of Inter Security AG will thus continue to be responsible for all customer concerns as before. "We are relying on the tried and tested relationships between customers and employees: Customers can therefore continue to rely on the proven contact persons and their expertise," Oliver de Capitani emphasizes. So everything will remain the same, only the name will change.
Responsible succession planning
Marcel Geering and Hans-Walter Heimann founded Inter Security AG in 1995. They can look back on a success story spanning more than 20 years, during which they were able to employ around 70 people, 30 of whom were full-time employees. Geering retired in 2012. To ensure a responsible future for the company, the founders transferred their shares to Wache AG. For the time being, Inter Security AG remained independent under the management of Hans-Walter Heimann. That changed in 2019, one year before Heimann's retirement: In 2020, the shareholders and boards of directors committed to a definitive merger with Wache AG. This is the only way to exploit synergies and combine forces in a targeted manner in a challenging market environment, especially since both security companies have similar business philosophies and values, but also serve similar customers with an identical range of services, as those responsible emphasize.
Wache AG, a family business, has been operating as a leading security company in the Zurich region for more than 90 years.
