A concentrated load of safety

Six months before the opening, the registration status for the SICHERHEIT 2017 trade fair (November 14 to 17) in Zurich is already very encouraging, as the organizers write.

Already now, about half a year before SICHERHEIT 2017, the registration status is very pleasing according to Exhibit & More AG. The individual stand areas are currently being allocated and it has been confirmed that the compression from four to three exhibition halls is pointing the way forward. According to the organizer, the new platforms are also meeting with great interest:

  • The "History Tunnel" will use a wide variety of examples to show trade fair visitors the developments and processes from the original hazards and risks to the most current solutions.
  • The new "IPS - Innovation Park SECURITY" allows a look into the future. There, exhibitors, start-up companies, universities and colleges will have an opportunity to present their innovations to visitors, congress participants and other exhibitors.

These two new platforms will be implemented in Hall 4, and planning for them is also said to be off to a promising start.

Twelve congress modules

The Safety Congress is a central component of the trade show. In order to meet the needs of visitors, exhibitors and congress participants even better, it will be completely integrated into the trade show and will take place in Halls 3 and 5. The optimized program will allow more time for combined visits to the congress and the trade show. In the twelve planned congress modules, attention will be paid as usual to the highest quality and to practical and solution-oriented presentations, as the organizers emphasize.

The topics cover a broad spectrum, from the current threat situation to aspects of emergency and crisis management, occupational safety, door management, security management and evacuation, and security in the area of tension of increasing networking and mobility. Other modules cover preparation for blackouts and a power shortage, Building Information Modeling (BIM) and the digital transformation of authorization media. In addition, there are three different modules that revolve around fire protection alone.

The detailed congress program will be available in a few weeks at www.sicherheit-messe.ch and under www.save.ch published.
