Eotec: Hänggi succeeds Schröder
The traditional Muttenz-based company Eotec AG, which has been active in the fields of video security, communication systems, media technology and IT media for around 34 years, has changed hands and is under new management.
Long-time CEO Stefan Schröder (58) has handed over the reins to his successor Martin Hänggi (37) as of July 1, 2018. Hänggi, for around one and a half years operational head the Eotecis also the new owner and chairman of the board of the SME with its 37 employees. Schröder deliberately did not sell his share package to just any investor, but to Hänggi, who had joined Eotec in 2002 as a young technician, the company writes. Schröder is taking early retirement at his own request, but will remain available to the company as a board member until further notice.
Even under the new CEO, the focus is on people - this is and will remain a central component of the company's philosophy, the new owner Martin Hänggi assured employees at an information event. Mutual trust, coupled with team spirit and a corresponding appreciation, are further core values of the new Eotec boss.
