Evacuation and alerting in focus
On October 26, the Save conference theme in Zurich is "Evacuation and alerting in focus!". The patronage of the event has the Swiss Association of Independent Safety Engineers and Consultants.
The modern working world in times of hybrid working, home office and "free seating" also influences emergency organization and poses new challenges for evacuation planning. The legal framework for this is apparently more complicated than expected. New solution models for a sustainable and efficient emergency organization are required. Driven not least by savings and optimization potentials, creative methods and innovative approaches in technical support for alerting are welcome to ensure effective emergency measures. A clear performance mandate and a well thought-out alerting concept are just as crucial in incident management as leadership with defined decision-making competencies. The way alarms are triggered and the information provided to those involved is also central to a successful and optimal evacuation. Technology helps.
