F24 acquires Dolphin Systems
Munich-based F24 AG acquires Dophin Systems AG in Wollerau SZ, which specializes in alerting and messaging solutions.
The F24 AG, service provider for alerting and crisis management, today announced the acquisition of Swiss company Dolphin Systems as the company writes. The strategic merger would result in valuable synergy effects with regard to the products and their marketing. Dolphin Systems AG with its more than 30 employees will continue to exist as an independent company, according to the statement.
F24 currently counts more than 600 companies worldwide among its customers, and the acquisition of Dolphin Systems, founded in 1992, brings its customer base to approximately 850 key customers. Both companies benefit from increased market access in more than 70 countries. The number of employees in the F24 Group will increase to a total of around 80 worldwide as a result of the merger.
Also a succession plan

"It is particularly pleasing that the founders and shareholders remain on board. This will allow us to further expand growth opportunities and further consolidate the F24 Group's importance and premium claim in Europe."

With the takeover by F24, the future of Dolphin Systems and its staff can be secured in the long term," said Heinz Wehrli, co-owner and CFO of Dolphin Systems. His company has so far focused mainly on the Swiss market. With F24, there is an opportunity to open up access to international markets, Wehrli said.
