Manhunt after burglary in watch store
On the night of Wednesday, April 19, 2017, unknown burglars stole watches worth around 300,000 Swiss francs from a watch and jewelry store in Zurich. The Zurich city police have released mugshots and are looking for witnesses.
Shortly after 1 a.m., unknown perpetrators forced their way into the watch and jewelry store 4 Watch GmbH at Badenerstrasse 4 in Zurich, directly next to Stauffacher. Inside the store, they smashed several display cases and stole watches of the brands Rolex, Omega, Graham, Jaeger LeCoultre, Patek Philippe and Audemars Piguet worth around 300,000 Swiss francs. At the scene of the crime, the thieves were filmed by a video camera. After the first police search means were exhausted, the Zurich City Police published pictures of the unknown perpetrators. It is possible that they fled in a vehicle. The burglary caused property damage of several thousand francs.

Persons who have made suspicious perceptions in the night of Wednesday, April 19, 2017, between 01:00 and 02:00 at Badenerstrasse 4, in the area of the streetcar stop Stauffacher, are asked to contact the Zurich City Police, Tel. 0 444 117 117.
