Building technology: driving the KNX standard forward
KNX is a worldwide standard for home and building control. The KNX Association/Brussels has newly appointed the members of its steering committee. A Swiss CEO is also part of the group.
Whether in a single-family home or in an office building, the requirements for lighting and access systems or for building control and automation are growing. At the same time, the efficient use of energy is important. This requires intelligent control and monitoring of all products used. The basis for this is the common KNX standard. As part of the KNX Association Steering Committee, the company receives Feller AG, a subsidiary of Schneider Electric, the opportunity to actively shape the intelligent networking of living spaces, as Schneider Electric writes.
Bölke new on the steering committee
In mid-February 2016, the KNX Association elected the members of its steering committee for the next five years. Matthias Bölke, CEO of Feller AG, is part of this 14-member body. "I am glad that Feller, as a Swiss company, can contribute to the further development of the worldwide KNX standard." says Bölke. "We are convinced that technology makes our lives easier, safer and more beautiful. People appreciate this when it offers relevant added value intuitively and without effort." The prerequisite for this is a manufacturer- and application-independent platform for all systems used. This is exactly what the KNX Association is committed to. KNX is a worldwide standard for home and building control.
