GVZ customers are also satisfied with premium

A customer survey conducted by GVZ Gebäudeversicherung Kanton Zürich revealed that a good 96% of participants are satisfied to very satisfied with the services provided. Satisfaction with regard to premium levels was also surveyed.

The GVZ insures buildings in the canton of Zurich against fire and natural hazards and is committed to prevention to protect people and property. As part of the 2012-2016 strategy, GVZ conducted a structured customer survey for the first time in its history in the fall of 2016 to assess GVZ as a whole and its services in particular. The aim was to determine the current situation and, above all, to identify potential for improvement.

Appropriate premium level?

According to information, more than 2,500 private and institutional building owners filled out the questionnaire (about 18%); it was sent to about 14,000 people. They were pleased with the many praising responses, but also with the critical comments, which were often supplemented with concrete suggestions for improvement.

For example, when asked if the level of premiums was appropriate, 39% checked "strongly agree" and 37% answered "agree" (see chart).

According to GVZ, policyholders paint a very positive picture overall: the company is perceived as a "professional" and "reliable" service provider. The vast majority of respondents also found the insurance company's employees to be competent, friendly and helpful, it concluded.  pd/rs
