Ideas stage for safe and healthy work: A+A 2019
From November 5 to 8, 2019, everything in Düsseldorf will revolve around the topics of personal protection, occupational safety and health at work. The world's leading trade fair offers the complete overview of the latest trends and products and provides important impetus for employees and employers so that people can work safer, healthier and more efficiently tomorrow.
The common thread of all presentations at A+A 2019 is the highlight route with concepts and solutions for the future of work. This is where practical products such as digital aids are presented or innovative workplace models are showcased. More than 1900 exhibitors from around 60 countries and over 67,000 trade visitors from all continents are expected again in 2019.
The human being in focus
Increasing international networking brings with it new corporate structures and production conditions, the challenges of which must be mastered on the job. To do this successfully, modern occupational safety and intelligent concepts are needed. In the future, more and more people around the world will work in networks and use IT media to solve tasks as a virtual team, independent of locations and fixed working hours. Experimental work environments can be highly attractive for young talent thanks to flexible work structures. Production processes are also increasingly organizing themselves autonomously with the help of decentralized IT intelligence and autonomous robotic systems and, for example, automatically adapting to external requirements such as unexpected process disruptions or changing demand.
With employees available virtually around the clock, the risk of mental stress and illness increases; the control of the individual can also increase as a result of new technologies. A+A 2019, the World Fair for Personal Protection, Occupational Safety and Health, will demonstrate that far-reaching structural changes and new forms of organization offer the opportunity to make the framework conditions of work healthier and less stressful; at the same time, it will sharpen the focus on potential risks and necessary protective measures.
New with START-UP ZONE
Making its debut at A+A 2019 is the international START-UP ZONE in Hall 10. This promotes young, creative, future-oriented companies. Whether it's a health app, VR glasses or high-tech textiles, there are no limits to the topics. "For us as a trade show, it is important to enrich the A+A offering with new ideas; that is why we promote the exchange of international industry newcomers with experts from business, research and politics," explains Birgit Horn, Director of A+A. The exhibition offer is aimed at international companies that have been active on the market for less than five years, have annual sales or a balance sheet total of less than 5 million euros and employ fewer than 20 people. It includes a range of inclusive services such as inclusion in the START-UP ZONE marketing, the media flat rate, exhibitor passes, admission ticket vouchers and much more.
