IFAS 2018 serves up concentrated expertise
At IFAS, trade fair for the healthcare market, exhibitors present their latest products and services. In addition, lectures and panels on current topics in the healthcare sector will be held in the forum. This year, the program is themed "Safely into the Future". For the IFAS Innovation Challenge, which is being held for the first time, 51 dossiers were submitted. It will be interesting to see which outstanding idea will pick up the first prize on October 25.
This year, the IFAS Forum will highlight various aspects of successful, secure healthcare. Patient and data security, supply security, the secure implementation of ICT projects and the associated investment security will be scrutinized. The new EU regulations for medical devices (MDR) and in vitro diagnostics (IVDR), which pose major challenges for the medtech industry, will also be a full-length topic. Presentations, field reports and a panel will shed light on this complex topic.
The CareFair job fair offers a wide range of companies. Large employers in the industry, such as the cantonal hospitals of Baselland and St. Gallen or the retirement centers of the city of Zurich, are also registered. The CareFair is a valued platform for job seekers and employers to get to know each other without obligation.
Special show focuses on life in old age
One of the proven focal points of IFAS is the special show "Hotel Industry in the Healthcare" on the subject of "Quality of life in old age". Eight exhibitors will be showing their innovations, which are of particular interest to decision-makers from homes, rehabilitation clinics and hospitals. After all, the new generation of older people is characterized by differentiated living situations and lifestyles - they have correspondingly individual needs in terms of comfort, catering or safety.
