ineltec 2024 - Meeting place for the Swiss electrical industry is back!

The prospects are electrifying: with 140 exhibitors on 11,000 square meters of space, ineltec 2024 is practically fully booked. Every two years, the trade fair aims to unite the relevant specialist areas of the electrical industry and bring manufacturers, dealers and their customers together in one place.

With its redesigned format, ineltec 2024 will once again become the national meeting place for the Swiss electrical scene almost 50 years after it was first held in 1975. The modernized concept ensures a close-up trade fair experience: concentrated over two days, reduced to a compact size and for the first time at Messe Zürich.

ineltec reloaded meets a need in the industry and has been supported by the most important industry association EIT.swiss from the outset. A visitor survey in May 2023 already showed the success of the event. On a scale of 1 to 5, respondents rated the importance of the return of ineltec at 4.26 and even indicated their intention to visit at 71 %. 92 % were professionals with a high level of decision-making authority - including tradesmen, installers, planners, engineers and dealers. Interest in the new launch on 11 and 12 September 2024 is high: with 140 exhibitors on 11,000 square meters of space in Halls 1 and 2, ineltec 2024 is practically fully booked.

Comprehensive range that goes into depth
At ineltec reloaded, leading manufacturers, dealers and start-ups from the entire electrical industry will be showcasing their latest products and applications. The exhibition covers the specialist areas of electrical engineering and building automation, energy in buildings, e-mobility, infrastructure, lighting, IT solutions as well as measuring, testing and tools. In addition to their live presence at the trade fair, exhibitors will also present themselves digitally on the ineltec.ch content platform. This is a good opportunity for trade visitors to discover the exhibitors, their offerings and their contributions in advance.

Two marketplaces with bistros for personal interaction
At the two marketplaces with bistro, interaction zone and Speakers Corner, industry associations and exhibitors offer an exciting daily program of events with innovation pitches or moderated talks. Those who attend will return to their day-to-day work with new impetus, ideas and motivation.

The topic of "electromobility" is on the agenda on Thursday morning, 12.9.2024. This is because the demand for charging stations will grow rapidly over the next decade. What opportunities and challenges will this development bring for electricians? What knowledge is needed, what skills are required? Answers will be provided by speakers Luc Tschumper, Swiss eMobility, Andreas Jost, A. Lehmann Elektro AG and Christian Müller, The Mobility House.

Further events by industry associations such as asut, swissT.net and electrosuisse are in preparation. They will focus on "Competitiveness in the age of AI", the "Interaction of different systems and generations in smart buildings", "How AI is changing the home of the future" and "ESG guidelines in building automation". The exhibitors' innovation pitches will take place daily. These are moderated short presentations on the latest products and solutions, followed by a Q&A session and discussion with the audience. Startups in the electrical industry
At the Startup Pitches on Wednesday afternoon, 11.9.2024, visionary founders will present their solutions for the electrical industry. The Startup Academy Switzerland event thus not only offers insights into groundbreaking technologies, but also the opportunity to exchange ideas directly with the industry's thought leaders at the subsequent aperitif.

After Work Event
Networking is an essential part of ineltec 2024, so exhibitors, partners and trade visitors will have the opportunity to round off the first day of the trade fair together at the After Work Event on September 11, 2024 from 5 pm.

Young talent on the move
ineltec supports young talent. Under the patronage of EIT.swiss, one-hour tours of the participating exhibitors take place several times a day - including short presentations, competitions and award ceremonies.
