How does job demand compare year over year for individual occupational groups? A balance that shows that the demand for IT security professionals is among the top 3.

The selective demand for certain specialists (ERP, IT security, etc.) as well as skilled workers in the industrial, construction and chemical sectors remains high, as stated in the company's report Michael Page is called. According to the statistics of this personnel consultancy, the demand of the following occupational groups showed the highest increase in the yearly comparison from December 2014 to December 2015:

Increasing demand (job growth December 2014 to 2015):

  • ERP (Enterprise Resources Planning) Specialists (+42%)
  • Retail trade (+13.4%)
  • IT Security (+10,5%)
  • Construction (+8.2%)
  • Chemical professionals (+6.5%)

Of course, there are also losers: the ranking is headed by the IT support occupational group (-33%), followed by field service/sales (-20.6%) and banking (-19.2%). According to the HR consultancy, they show the lowest year-on-year job growth rates.
