Nuclear Energy Ordinance: Consultation opened

The Consultation on the revision of the Nuclear Energy Ordinance will last until Nov. 3, 2016, according to the Swiss Federal Office of Energy (SFOE). The revision of the existing Article 34 and the new Article 34a will regulate the timing of the periodic safety review (PSR) and the safety case, as well as define the requirements for the safety case for long-term operation of nuclear power plants, the SFOE said.
