Procedure pulmonary function test
A lung function test, also called spirometry, can be performed easily, painlessly and within ten minutes. During spirometry, the test person is given a mouthpiece that is to be held tightly with both lips. On the instructions of the trained LuftiBus staff, the test person inhales as deeply as possible and then exhales quickly and forcefully through the mouthpiece.
The values obtained allow assessments to be made regarding lung health. The values help to identify lung and Respiratory such as COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) or Asthma and treat them at an early stage. However, the employees do not make any diagnoses. In case of abnormal results, a more detailed medical examination is necessary.
