More safety with LED signal lamps
Multicolor LED signal lights increase the level of safety in everyday hospital life.
The new and electronically controlled LED signal lamps from Tyco Integrated Fire & Security Switzerland have freely configurable colors and flashing patterns that can be flexibly assigned to individual light fields. In the standard configuration, the colors white, red, green, yellow, blue, magenta, cyan, brown and purple can be selected.
Important for emergency situations
The long-lasting and energy-saving LED lights are clearly visible even in daylight and regardless of the viewing angle. Since several lamp segments signal calls, alarms or presences together, messages are detected even better and at a greater distance. This is particularly helpful for alarm calls such as the FGD alarm.
Emergency, service and equipment call
The option of using additional colors to display different additional information significantly reduces the workload on staff. For example, a service call can be displayed in a different color than an emergency call, allowing the respective specialist to be addressed in a targeted and needs-oriented manner. In addition to red (according to DIN VDE 0834), another color can be displayed for the equipment call. The nursing staff then immediately recognizes that it is the signal of a connected unit, such as a diagnostic device, a bed mat, or a signaling contact.
Missed calls are avoided
Another function of the multicolor LED signal lamp is the so-called call delay. It forwards a raised call to the nurse call system only after the preset time has elapsed. The delay can be set from one second to 90 minutes. The call can be cancelled again on site within the delay time. This prevents false calls caused by accidental pressing of the call button, for example during cleaning.
