Microsoft to remove Flash completely from June
Starting in June, Flash Player will be automatically removed from Windows systems and reinstallation will be blocked.
Microsoft has in its blog to a corresponding update announcedthat Adobe Flash will be completely cleaned out of Windows 10 starting this June. In June, the update update KB4577586 should be installed on all current Windows computers.
The Flash Player should no longer be dormant in Windows 10 systems as a result. A corresponding update was previously available as an option, but will now be distributed to all systems as part of the patch day.
The flash removal should also work on older Windows 10 systems with version 1507 and 1607. Likewise, the software will also be removed from Windows 8.1, Windows Server 2021 and Windows Embedded 8 Standard.
