Morphean, which operates in the cloud-based video surveillance sector, announces a new capital raising. This will enable the company to develop faster in the new dynamic security market and gain a global foothold with its platform, it writes.
The new of the Morphean AG The capital provided comes from existing shareholders (iCortex, AM-Tec and Risikokapital Freiburg) and two new partners - Swisscom Ventures and Swiss Securitas Group. The two new allies - despite a minor stake - will prove strategically important for Morphean, the company stresses. "Thanks to the support of our partners and the new financial resources, I am in an ideal position to implement my visions and break new ground in the security market," explains Morphean CEO and co-founder Rodrigue Zbinden. According to information, the company would like to open up its capital further in the medium term via an initial public offering (IPO) and further expand its role as a pioneer.
